I went with Kylie and two of the art counselors to check out two of the sites where we will be holding our school holiday programme. I got to ride allll over this city 
and meet with those who are running Childline, an organization that provides safehouses for kids. The whole city has gone mad with the upcoming world cup day...
our office is closing early to just avoid the traffic and general insanity. Near the airport, there are hundreds upon hundreds of yellow hands welcoming all the visitors to south africa for the world cup.

After our long and arduous journey, we made it back to the office in time for me to call up 20 people to follow up on food donations for our programme. I got two potentials and one offering at cost prices which is pretty good. and if you know me at all you know that i hate calling people on the phone, especially if i don't know them so this was definitely a stretching activity for me. My little introverted self was pretty dead after the day, so i made dinner while watching the end of "one fine day" on tv... i was in bed asleep by 8pm. Sad but true. lol. I didn't even make it to watch the opening world cup concert that was airing on tv. 3 people have gotten sick in our office... i've been taking my vitamin c packets and obviously getting a lot of sleep...
